We gladly accept digital files to use for your plate design. Files can be submitted via email, CD-ROM or through the form below. The examples below illustrate the characteristics for different file types and also list applications we support.

We can work with both bitmap and vector file types, however vector is the preferred format for graphics that do not use photographic images.

  • When submitting files, indicate what application and version were used to create the graphics.
  • List all fonts used, or alternatively, convert the fonts to outlines.
  • Avoid the use of text smaller than 0.05in and lines thinner than 0.01in. This requirement may be more stringent if etching is involved.

Please note that if you submit an art file that is not an appropriate format, we may have to vectorize the file. This will
ensure proper separation of colors and a quality, printable resolution. In other cases, we may have to modify art work
to accommodate our production needs. While every effort will be made to maintain graphic integrity, each case is
different and issues regarding production, importing, fonts, etc. will be dealt with as needed. In all cases, we will be
submitting a proof for approval.

Choose the method that is most convenient for you:

  1. Email the graphics to mek@knpco.com

  2. Mail the files to: Kennedy Nameplate, Graphics Dept., 4501 Pacific Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90058

  3. Upload graphic files one at a time via this form. Large files will take a while, please be patient.
